The idea for “Where the Autumn Never Ends” came to me while I was driving in the rain along some back roads in Maryland. I found myself thinking: what if we took a wrong turn? What if we ended up somewhere autumn never ends? That little thought became a song.

A note from Jacob
Like so many of us, I love spooky season. When October arrives, I revel in the darkness and wish I could live inside those days a little longer. But I’ve always felt there wasn’t enough music for the season I love most.
My best friend once told me, “If you want to read something that doesn’t exist, write it.” I took that advice and applied it to music.
“October Wind” and “Midnight Ball” came from that same wish: to make the music I wanted to hear and hold on to a little of October, even after it ends.
